It’s international middle class women’s day. The women I work with and help aren’t even aware of it.
I don’t entirely agree Warren. But I take your point. I hope you told them about I W Day, website etc. A lot of good things have happened because of the women’s movement, middle class or not and they’ve happened for all women whatever class.
We had a screening of Made in Dagenham and a discussion afterwards of how this movement had a knock on effect across the world. It was encouraging to see women who feel completely bereft of the power to affect their own lives see how other ordinary women did.
