I’m feeling in a bank holiday mood – I wonder why? Maybe it’s the great feedback I’ve been getting from readers of Blood Tide – some of which has been posted on Amazon (not everyone wants to go public and I understand that.) I’m just amazed and delighted at what readers have said both publically and personally but I’m especially delighted with the Indie E Book review by Kathleen Jones which simply blew me away- here’s a taste of what she said
There’s a rich cast of characters in this book, beginning with Danny himself – a complex, intelligent man, bruised by past events…
The landscape of ‘Geordie-land’ is so beautifully drawn – the lilting rhythms of the speech, the curry houses, the old streets around the Tyne. I could hear it, smell it, see it.
I was gripped by this thriller from beginning to end…. Danny Beck has all the hall-marks of a classic detective and I can’t wait for the second novel!
There’s was such heartache with this book – with editors and publishers – it came so near but in the end not near enough. What’s great about getting Blood Tide out there on Kindle is that maybe, just maybe READERS will prove they were wrong.
READERS RULE! The great thing about Kindle is how the writers really show their respect for their readers and readers can respond personally to the writer of a novel they enjoy – if they manage to tackle the ‘review’ invitation on Amazon. Please, please do it if you can! Blood Tide – as everybody comments – is an excellent literary crime novel. wx
READERS RULE! I like that very much
