I’m still feeling very chuffed about it all, but today I want to talk about something else, a new exciting venture with my publisher Linen Press in support of Women’s Aid – the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children.
Women’s Aid are a federation of over 180 organisations providing around 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across the country. Survivors of abuse are at the heart of their work, and in just the first two weeks of lockdown they saw a 41% increase in users to their Live Chat.
They need our help, your help, and that’s why Linen Press and myself have devised Paper Bag Writer – a paper bag filled with paper goodies, including a book of your choice, notebooks, and collaged postcards made by me during lockdown as part of my home exhibition £4.00 from every purchase will go to Women’s Aid.
